St. John Eudes Waridi School is seeking a dynamic Head Teacher to lead our institution to new heights of academic excellence and holistic development. We are a Catholic institution under the Archdiocese of Nairobi, located in Westlands.
Duty

Requirements
- MUST be a committed Catholic faithful with a parish priest recommendation letter.
- T.S.C Certification and valid academic credentials
- Proven leadership: at least 4 years as a Head Teacher & experience in senior roles; Class teacher to Head teacher.
- Diploma or Degree holder with 4+ years of experience.
- A clear progressive record in the senior classes or junior school.
- Ability to work independently and foster teamwork
- Should work closely with those in top administrative management without blackmailing, undermining, manipulating and outside influence.
- Should be able to cope up with spiritual understanding of catholic faith and all denominations.
- Should have CBC background knowledge and ability to drive modern school development.

Teaching levels: Upper Primary and Junior School.
Requirements
- Must be TSC registered.
- Certificate / Diploma / Bachelor’s in Education.
- Teaching Subjects: French, English/Kiswahili + any other 2-3 CBC Learning Areas.
- At least of 3 years teaching experience in a similar role.
- Fluent in spoken and written French.
- Computer Literate.
- Available to start work immediately.
- Guidance and Counselling background will be an added advantage.

Requirements

- Fully trained in CBC.
- Previous experience as a Deputy or Head in a similar role.

- 5 to 6 years teaching experience in the three levels of Preschool. (Reception Class / Play Group, PP1 and PP2.)
- Full understanding of the Preschool curriculum and the expected outcomes at each level.

- Computer literate and knowledge of data entry.
- Skills in patience and remaining calm under pressure.
- Ability to be flexible with daily routines and schedules to capture nurturing and teachable moments.
- Ability to treat children, parents and staff members with dignity and respect.
- Age bracket: 30 to 40 years.
- Available to start work immediately.

Requirements
- Must have a Grade C aggregate and above in KCSE.
- Certificate / Diploma in Library and Information Science.
- A minimum of 3 years experience performing library services preferably in a school set up.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a Library and its collections.
- Excellent Computer skills and knowledge of library data bases.
- Ability to manage library budgeting and billing for new collections.
- Skills in shelving, cataloging and information retrieval methods.
- Able to train teachers and learners how to optimally use library books and materials.
- A patient and friendly person.
- Ability to inspire children with a passion to read.
- Willing to work evenings, weekends and school holidays.
- Guidance and Counselling background will be an added advantage.
